When construction, forestry, logging, or other similar industries need to use a skid steer or tractor to pick up large limbs or other cumbersome debris or items, a traditional forklift isn’t always available. Farmers, construction workers, developers, and other landscape architects may only have a machine with a bucket attachment. If they want to use the bucket to move a large item, such as a tree, limb, or even a pallet of goods, then the only option is to acquire a forklift, or purchase forms that attach to the bucket with bolts.
Not everyone who needs the accessibility and mobility of a forklift has one, nor do all owners of a tractor or other bucket truck want to bolt forks onto the bucket just to move a few heavy or unwieldy items.
Is there an easier option than removing the bucket entirely, or permanently bolting forks onto it?
Now there is! Enter the EZ Fork, developed by Inventor Joe Vaclavik, Jr. of Fairfield, TX!
EZ Fork – Your Transportation and Logistics Solution!
Joe became frustrated with the few choices he had for using his tractor bucket to move larger items. He noted that his only options were bolt-on forks. Even with these attachments, the forks were not easily adjustable.
Joe was inspired to create the EZ Fork, forks attached to a bucket with brackets. The process of attaching the brackets to the bucket is swift – just two minutes! Best of all, the forks can easily be adjusted in length or spacing, so the operator can safely lift and remove any type of large and cumbersome item.
The EX Fork also comes with ratchet straps, which aren’t required, but can easily attach right to the bucket.
The EX Fork may be used on any type of heavy equipment with a bucket, including a tractor, like Joe’s, a skid steer, or any type of loader. Once the EX Fork straps are in place, the operator can operate the machine bucket in the same way they normally would, using the controls to control the bucket to scoop up the item, lift it, and then drive it to its destination. Then, the operator can simply use the bucket controls to deposit the item where they wish. It truly is that simple!
